Cell Test Report |
CBP-2000 4/5 Sub C NMH |
| An 8 cell pack was tested. The cells were nearly-new; broken-in and flown
twice. Data was obtained from seven continuous discharges at various resistance load settings. At the end of the briefest discharge [4.9 minutes] the pack temperature was 188F; too hot to touch for more than half a second. I decided against any hotter runs. I'm not interested in any shorter run-times, and I don't want to unnecessarily risk damage to my cells [yes, I buy them; I don't get them free]. Note that the EMF, current, and power values are the average over the run time. Verdict. OK at the price. Almost identical to Panasonic 2000 tested three years ago. Better cells available at higher cost. In practical use, these cells have performed in-line with the test results.
