Flight testing, using the Eagletrees V2 Datalogger

Now that my datalogger is providing usable recordings, I have to decide how to put it to work.

The plan is to fly it in a selection of models, fast ones and slow ones. The objective is to collect data which will assist in the design of electric-powered models.

One single test will not reveal much, but a series tests could reveal useful relationships  [e.g. between wing loading , power/wt, pitch speed]

The first model tested will be my Commuter. It will be the subject of four reports, each with a different combination of propeller and gear ratio. The first report is now published [Sept 05].
