Original notes

     First flight 2001....span 56"....50oz....13oz per sq ft....one unlabelled 20-turn 540....Jamara gearbox, 2.9 to 1....8 Panasonic 2000 nmh....aileron, elevator and rudder controls....mostly balsa....

The tendency for the gearbox to fall to pieces has been cured by using threadlock , and changing M3 grubscrews to M4.

Wing is made from .25" by .75" strips glued to form camber. Struts are .048" piano wire.

All bracings and closed-loop controls are steel fishing trace.

Hand-launch is very easy. Early difficulties were caused by the lower trailing-edge lifting off the fuselage under full power. Cured by more bands.
