Recent activity has been fitting existing models with brushless motors in place of can motors.

Models modded and flown include Calcutta, Lohner, SeaMaster, and a new EE Lightning [flown unfinished, as photos].

The Calcutta and Lightning are fitted with DIY-wound kit motors since I couldn't find suitable ready-mades.

New motors continue to appear in the adverts. A few of them have Kvs in the range 1500-3000, which will reduce the need for DIY motors.

My SM 74 is in the process of re-fitting with outrunners. The amount of wiring, for four motors, is rather off-putting, but some novel solutions have made the project viable.

In due course, updated descriptions will appear in My Models.

The Blackpool Electric Day was blighted with a forecast of poor weather. On the day, a few models were flown in-between showers, including my Seamaster.

The Blackburn club's 3-day Fly-In was favoured with beautiful weather. I flew my Lancaster, B52, SeaMaster, and Nighthawk.
