Intermittent Radio Fault

After last year's transmitter problems I am acutely aware of any abnormality, such as occurred recently when preparing a model for flying.

Everything was normal, except for one thing. Occasionally, the servos would go dead, just for a few seconds, then return to normal operation.

The infrequency and brevity of the malfunction made it very time-consuming to locate the fault, which could have been anywhere in the aircraft or the transmitter.

After much swapping, substituting and testing, the culprit was proved to be the receiver [the Xtal was OK]. I adjusted the trimmer , and replaced the antenna, to no avail.

So I have a receiver which works normally for 99.99% of the time. It has to go.
