Some nice calm weather has enabled me to test and trim the 0-400

Modifications since last-year's disastrous attempt;   aileron balance horns cut off and fixed to wing;    Jamara 480HS replace Pro 480's,    cell count reduced from 10 to 8.

The first flight was a roller-coaster. Lots of rudder inputs required (I'm not used to that). After three more flights it was nicely trimmed, and well-behaved, as a result of mixing rudder with aileron. Care is needed to avoid an over-steep initial climb. Duration is 7 minutes.

I like quick-build models (as my 110 and JF-9). This quicky Concorde took two days to draw and seven days to the first coat of dope. Empty, it weighs 11 oz. At this light weight, hand-launch test glides are possible, and have been done to establish TE reflex and CG position. This should make the first powered-flight attempt fairly safe. AUW about 30 oz. Fingers crossed!
