A spell of good weather in April-- four models flown-- two electric (P61 & H6k) and two glo (Lanc & IL28).  Already, lessons being learned (or re-learned). There are 26 screws on the P61's two gearboxes. It only takes one loose screw to spoil your day's flying.

The weather has now reverted to normal--wet and windy.

Last year I got to only two electric "doos"--Blackpool and Chester. Other meetings attended were Skelmersdale, Leigh and Blackburn. Maybe this year I'll extend my range--Greenacres, perhaps.

Flying electric in company with IC has some problems-- background noise mainly. Also, many IC pilots are unaware of our diminishing power.

My wheel-equipped models are too heavy to hand-launch, and they require a long and smooth T.O. strip.  OK at Weeton, but marginal at many venues.  I must look for some large-wheeled prototypes.
