   At last!  The 0-400 has flown. Lots of fine tuning required, but it looks promising. It even landed without nosing-over. At 50 watts per pound it has ample power. Pitch speed is 35mph, which is probably higher than optimum, but tip clearance does not allow a larger-diameter prop.

   The building season approaches. I'll probably make only two new models, but already there are eight contenders. When balsa-cutting starts I'll give you a name.

   No more radio problems, thank goodness!
