Supermarine  Nighthawk

First flight 2006.......span 49".......45 oz.......9 oz/sq ft.......two bell motors [1500 Kv].......props are 5.5 dia x 6 [cut from 7 x 6 gunthers]........3S lipos, 2500 mAh.......

Model has been satisfactorily test flown in an unfinished state.

Wings are cambered sheet balsa. Mostly 1/8", some 1/4". Struts are 2 mm carbon rod, glued. Diagonal bracing is not needed.

Controls are throttle, elevator, and aileron mixed with lots of rudder.

With great care, it will take-off from short grass, but a nose-over on landing is guaranteed. Must try it on tarmac. Wind limit is 6mph.
